QERM students' work spans ecosystems, quantitative methods, and organizational boundaries.

Quantitative Ecology & Resource Management (QERM) is a unique interdisciplinary graduate program designed for students interested in applying quantitative tools to ecological and resource management issues. Students receive intensive training in the application of statistical, mathematical, and decision sciences to terrestrial and aquatic ecology, natural resource management, biometrics, and mathematical biology.
QERM is proud to be an interdisciplinary program. This tool began with the desire to see just how interdisciplinary we really are, as measured by our ecological interests, quantitative methods, and groups with which we collaborate.
You can choose which of these measures of interdisciplinaryness to view using the dropdown menu below. QERM students are clustered by the department of their primary advisor. You can also select the layout of the grouping or choose whether to include current students, alumni, or both.
The tool was built with JavaScript and D3, and draws from this tutorial by Jim Vallandingham.
